Static RAM (SRAM) is a type of computer memory that uses bistable latching circuitry to store each bit of data. Unlike dynamic RAM (DRAM), which needs to be refreshed thousands of times per second, SRAM does not require periodic refresh cycles, making it faster and more reliable for certain applications.
